A Hawk And A Hacksaw Get Intimate With Falmouth Crowd

17th April 2008 | by Gavin Riley

A Hawk And A Hacksaw played the last of their two shows at Miss Peapod's in Penryn, Falmouth last night, and were clearly in the mood for some fun.

Jeremy and Heather were playing a showcase for Lono Records, and against a backdrop of the Penryn harbour and some tasty organic cider, A Hawk And A Hacksaw put on a memorable show.

After a couple of songs they decided they were more comfortable playing amongst the crowd, so took their instruments and settled in the bar.

One man bellowed towards the end: Best concert in Cornwall ever!.

It was impossible to disagree with him.

A Hawk And A Hacksaw are currently supporting Portishead on their U.K tour, before they set off on their own tour and the upcoming ATP event in Minehead.

I'm not really into European-style music but along with Beirut, i would pay good money to watch these guys, and go just about anywhere to watch them.

Have your say
