If you don't have a solo-project on the side, you're completely out of place at the Centre stage at the Explosions in the Sky curated ATP. Taking to the stage right after Deerhunter's side-project Atlas Sound comes Panda Bear in his day job, Animal Collective.

True, it was disappointing that the side-project of Noah 'Panda Bear' Lennox didn't make an appearance this weekend, but at least we have the Animal Collective to tide us over.

Still riding high after the success of their recent "Water Curses" E.P it was doubtful that this set was ever going to be a letdown, the highlight of the night still came from "Strawberry Jam's" "Fireworks" (never a more apt title for a song) but we'd give them a round of applause, and we did, many times for all.

Ooooh more photos.Found this site last year when you did the Portishead ATP,all the sites photos are incredible,better than Pitchfork!its just a shame we have to keep looking in differnt places.U should have one big ATP page.
