You'd think that being second on the bill at one of the nations biggest musical events of the calendar would get you some attention around here.

Even front-man Kele Okereke found the lack of audience interest at the outset of the band's show tonight a little underwhelming. "Look I know Radiohead are on next", he told the crowd. "But you've got us for the next hour, so let's see a little motion."

This modicum of correction appeared to be all the audience needed to inject a little adrenaline into the mix. They came out from their expectational slumber and showed their respect and admiration for the Party.

The respite from the gloom even afforded Okereke the opportunity to poke a little fun at the then very-recent schism in camp Oasis. "It's really sad that two rock legend brothers have parted ways" before breaking into a cheeky smile and adding, "What? You think I'm talking about Oasis?"

The buoyed crowd buoyed the now-buoyed band, infusing frenzy into a feedback loop. Radiohead who? Well, we didn't quite get to that point, but still.
