According to the program that ATP drew up for this event, the five members of Built To Spill have over a century of experience between them as musicians.

They have produced some of the finest records to ever grace the Strange Glue stereo, but it seems that despite all that experience and the sweeping anthemic guitar hooks - the live incarnation of the band is still thoroughly disappointing.

It's probably not helped by the fact the band start early whilst everyone is still coming down the stairs, but even after three songs, the green carpet remains sparsely populated, with air hockey the predominant sound between songs.

Maybe if the band had more energy it could have been different. But at least their performance will give some inspiration to the beardies and the baldies who lapped up their contemporary leaders.
