The Cribs must be looking forward to getting this tour done and dusted, because judging from the bruises over the battered body of Ryan Jarman, it's been a tough one.

After the incidents earlier this month, which knocked Ryan unconscious (after leaping into the crowd in Birmingham) and Gary's blood poisoning which left him hospitalised, the Exeter crowd could be forgiven for thinking whether indeed the band would turn up.

But, in true Northern style, the brothers played a storming set and showed that they are arguably the best live band in Britain right now.
