The South By Southwest Festival normally kicks off with the Canadian Blast party just across from the Convention centre, however the Day Stage Cafe kicked things off with a bang playing host to one of Canada's best up-and-coming bands.

The Toronto seven-piece have it all in abundance, two drummers, dual frontmen and a plentitude of energy - something that the early folk all acknowledge. Repetitive beats, chaotic math-rock and an insane band name, make this one of the bands to look out for in 2009.

They'll need that energy though, with twelve further shows this week, this will very well be an incredibly busy week for the collective.
