The Metros Live @ Birmingham Bar Academy

StrangeGlue were back at the Birmingham Bar Academy tonight for a frenetic, riotous assault on the occupants of Birmingham's more intimate venues. 

The band who are in the middle of a tour of the UK attracted an energetic crowd to the Academy, playing for just under an hour.

The venue was simmering at a barely breathable temperature, but it didn't sap the raw energy of the crowd. 

The band, are promoting their new single, Last of the Lookers which comes out early next month, the single went down a treat with the crowd here tonight.

For the uninitiated The Metros are a five-piece London band with a heavy new wave influence. There's plenty more dates on the tour including appearances at Glastonbury, T In The Park and Reading and Leeds festivals.
