When you start your video with a guy doing the 'bunny hop' in his underwear, you know that normaltown was clearly a few stops back. You've probably fallen asleep on the train the way Neil Gaiman must do.

When the actual video for Deerhoof's latest "Fresh Born" kicks in, it only gets a little more sedated. True, there's stuffed gorillas playing the drums and band members doing their best zombie impressions, but at least it roughly resembles a music video. Taken from the band's upcoming album "Offend Maggie", this is Deerhoof, pioneers of preposterousness, masters of madness and bringers of bipolar schizoid hallucinations.
