Former DIY poster-boy Emil Svanängen has come a long way from his basement CDRs, sold at his shows in his hometown of Jönköping, Sweden.

Deals with Sub-Pop and PolyVinyl beckoned and strong word-of-mouth placed him at the forefront of the electronic-indie wave, residing in the same circles as the likes of The Notwist. New album Dear John will build on this further as will the first single taken from the album, "Airport Surroundings".

The video features a choppily edited Svanängen behind the wheel, seemingly searching for something. Then, at the end, he finds it. Sorry about the spoilers there.
