Shearwater's brand new album 'The Golden Archipelago' looms on the horizon, so to excite us further, the band have decided to grant us a free-of-charge MP3.

The track is called "Castaways" and fits neatly into the band's indie/psych/folk rock style. The full album will be released by Matador Records on February 23, 2010. The album recently made the news when the band sought to fund a special dossier by way of fan contributions. The budget has now been met and the window for the dossiers is rapidly closing. You need to get yourself to the Kickstarter: Shearwater page before January 31.
