Punk goes indie-rock this week as new kids on the scene Vampire Weekend decide to cover Rancid's seminal hit punk song 'Ruby Soho' during a BBC Radio 1 session with Zane Lowe.

Last month, the band released their new album Contra to a medium/positive reception. It reached number 1 on the U.S Billboard 200, selling 124,000 copies in its first week on sale.
