The stampede leading up to the release of beloved Danish indie dreamers Mew's new album has officially reached terminal velocity with the advent of a brand new video.

The new album, entitled No More Stories Are Told Today. I'm Sorry, They Washed Away. No More Stories, the World Is Grey. I'm Tired, Let's Wash Away is slated for release on August 24, 2009 in the U.K with Scandinavia getting it the week before.

The video for the single, "Introducing Palace Players", directed by Mertin De Thura, pits the band against a spookified forest, bizarre woodland creatures as well as rocks that can fire laser beams. Witness for yourself below...
