If you managed to travel the entire world and find all of the cutest animals that graced this planet and then found every ounce of talent dotted around the globe and managed to somehow fuse the two into a human being, you still wouldn't be close to the spectacle that is Joanna Newsom.

The video of the week this week is the woman herself playing the beautiful Sawdust And Diamonds off of her 2006 album Y's. Though this album is far superior than the majority of current music, this writer urges you to push a little farther back into her discography as there is plenty of treats awaiting on her 2004 The Milk Eyed Mender LP.

This performance was shot in Philadelphia back in 2006 and is spell binding to say the very least. Just look at her hands when the song picks up speed, it's literally breathtaking how passionate she gets when playing her music.
