We were so close to giving in to the Christmas season and presenting you with a nice, festive Video Of The Week (Nat King Cole anyone?) but then we came across this gem.

Having Johnny Cash on Sesame Street is sort of like inviting drug dealers to a baby shower but it is legendarily pulled off by the man himself with one or two clever words changes. The sheer brilliance of this is only usurped by the song itself.

All together now: Don't take your ones to town son, leave your ones at home Bird.

Genius, pure unadulterated genius. I have not heard such wonderful lyrics since I left the old country.
