Many of you may not of heard Make Good Your Escape and sadly, many of you never will as the band are now defunct, splitting up back in 2007 due to label and money troubles.

Just because they no long exist doesn't mean they don't qualify for our Video Of The Week though and so proudly and lovingly, we offer to you one of their finest moments in their all too brief career.

The below video was shot as part of a CSS Session (City Centre Social Session) and features the English foursome perform the fantastically rousing Cut The Ropes from their first and only mini-album Never Look Back Here Again. It's probably their best song ever recorded and live, well, it's a-hundred times as strong. We managed to catch these guys in the early days of their career at the rather intimate Hertford Marquee and we can honestly say that it's truly disappointing to have lost such a talented and unique collective of artists.

Anyway, we shall blabber on longer so enjoy the song, stare in awe at the video, try and get their one and only CD and remember to support your favourite bands people, let's help keep music alive.
