Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.

We've seen a host of cool videos over the last week but none of them stuck in our heads as much as these two here by Yeasayer.

Taken from the mind-blowing Dark Was The Night compilation CD released earlier this year through the Red Hot Organization and the 4AD Label (if you don't already own it then we demand you stop reading and acquire it somehow), this track is one of our personal favourite's from the record and so we were absolutely astounded when we came across this video here.

Performing with just their hands on the floor and a piano in someone's house, the band recreate the songs fantastic atmosphere flawlessly as well add an entirely new element to the rhythm and melody.

After watching the video, we were shocked to find another video of the band performing the same track but acoustically with banjo's, kazoo-like mouth instruments and a host of other seemingly random instruments that as a collective, create one seriously awesome acoustic performance.
