Pelican's latest record 'What We Have Come To Need' is nearly an hour long and consists of just eight songs.
This means that when you hear of a new single and video for one of their tracks, you most definitely know what you're going to get. Standing as the final song from the new record, Final Breath was originally a seven and a half-minute epic on CD and even though they've cut it down by two minutes for its general release, it still manages to kick some serious musical ass.
Have you ever had that dream where you're falling constantly through tunnels and landscapes and symmetrical/kaleidoscopic corridors of nothingness? Yeah well, us neither but after watching the Matt Santoro-directed video below, you'll know exactly what it feels like. Apparently it's all very conceptual and deep but all it did was freak us out so once you've watched it, let us know what you thought/saw/felt.
Enjoy, if your eyes and ears can take it that is.
