With a new album fresh on the shelves and a growing fan-base to boot, Thao With The Get Down Stay Down have done pretty well for themselves in 2009.

As a near end-of-year celebration, the band have taken to the beach in their new video for When We Swam, lifted from their just released Kill Rock Stars full-length Know Better, Learn Faster.

It's a typically Thao affair with catchy riffs, poppy choruses and confident female vocals. Add a spiky, rocky twist and you've got the prefect soundtrack to a beach-dance and game of tug-o-war, apparently.
