'The Hazards Of Love' was perhaps The Decemberist's biggest release to date and one of the first songs we heard before it's March 09 release was 'The Rake's Song', a track that has now been given it's very own video.

Created by two students, Alex Dashino and Varvara Volodina of London's Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, the trippy animated clip is a prefect accompaniment  to the rough and rocky track behind.

It kind of reminds us how unique of a band The Decemberists actually are and though some have a love/hate relationship with the new record, you just can't deny their individual sound and style. 

Kudos to the art student creators too.
