The official video for Thom Yorke's contribution to the benefit and tribute album 'Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy', has been released this week.
Also of interest to musicologists is the trivia that this song marks the very first time that Thom Yorke has appeared on record with his brother Andy Yorke (who you may remember from such bands as Unbelievable Truth), who accompanies him during the choruses with some vocal harmonisation.
The album itself was pulled together featuring an plethora of stars of the music world in aid of Mark Mulcahy (pictured above), whose wife tragically died recently, leaving him to raise their children by himself. The proceeds from the album will ensure that Mulcahy can continue to write songs as opposed to having to get a McJob to support his brood.
