Last night, Vampire Weekend made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman to perform "Cousins", a track from their new album, Contra.

Contra is due for a January 12, 2010 release, it will follow up the band's breakthrough 2008 self-titled début.And to think, that band name would've been quite cool before Stephanie Meyer came along.
