Video: Wavves - No Hope Kids

So as you all would've no doubt read a few weeks ago, Wavves frontman Nathan Williams pretty much broke down onstage at this year's Primavera Festival.

As we wrote HERE, the rather silly Mr Williams apologised soon after the live burn-out and explained that the reasoning behind his behaviour was due to an Ecstasy, Valium and Xanax cocktail as well as too much alcohol. Yeah...that would've probably done it.

Anyway, previous to the disastrous set and subsequent cancelling of their UK tour, the band recorded this video here for one of the new tracks off of their latest second LP Wavvves (check our review HERE) titled No Hope Kids.

Brimming with lo-fi fuzz and an almost non-existent rhythm, Wavves music has always been either uniquely endearing or a giant wheel-barrow of faecal-matter and depending on your standing with the band, this song wont change your mind much. 

The video features the infamous Nathan doing what he does best and that's smoking weed, drinking alcohol, playing live, being a bit of an idiot and...well...that's really about it. It's possibly a darkly witty message that cleverly pertains to it's title and shows the ever decreasing social status of teenagers and young adults. We doubt it though...
