The solo project of The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jnr. is heating up. With the release of his new album "CÃ³mo Te Llama" due within the next month. Hammond has finally decided to play some of the songs live.

The album is scheduled for release on July 8, 2008 and he has decided to play one lone show for the time being. Albert Hammond Jnr. and his entourage will be heading for Spaceland in Los Angeles on July 11 for a special one-off performance.

He is expected to announce a full tour for later in the year, but this will have to hold us for now.
