Albums Out This Week: W/C 2nd August 2010

After last week's soporific effort, the first week of August takes a decisive turn for the better, with no less than a baker's dozen of albums to feast upon this Monday.

Topping the sales charts as well as the critics taste buds is the return of Canada's Arcade Fire, who release their third studio album. Is it as good as Funeral? Check out our review here.

Meanwhile, Wavves are back, both mentally stronger and on record, while L.A alt. rock outfit Autolux make a comeback after six long years to release the excellent Transit, Transit.
