Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.

Its been seven long months since we were first treated to the superb mini-album from Birmingham's Johnny Foreigner.

Since then JoFo have continued to make waves, culminating in the release of their first "proper" album this week. 'Waited Up 'til It Was Light', out today, will have people pressing their repeat buttons just about everywhere.

Elsewhere, there's a superb debut release by former Okkervil River keyboardist Jonathan Meiburg. His band Shearwater release 'Rook' this week.
