A second major seller of concert tickets has entered the danger area around liquidation. Xclusive Tickets, an online ticket agency failed to fulfil orders for nearly 20,000 customers seeking to attend August events, which included the recent Reading slash Leeds festival and also the Beijing Olympics.

As ever, those who had the foresight to use their credit cards are rubbing their hands in glee as their money is refunded whereas those mere mortals who used their debit cards are consigned to the 'unsecured creditor' bin with about as much chance of receiving a refund as a factual statement from Bill O'Reilly.

This warning follows the collapse of the rather comically titled 'SOS Master Tickets' last week who likewise failed to deliver on a large number of orders and promptly disappeared into the night, disconnecting telephone lines and pulling their website offline. The company is currently under investigation by Trading Standards.
