Break-ups are so last century! With bands from Blue, to Take That, to Get-Up Kids, to Blink-182, to Michael Jackson's face getting back together, it's time for the daddy!
In a routine conversation between Blood Royale and The Mars Volta, the subject of reformation came up, and TMV front-man Cedric Bixler Zavaladid not shy away from the topic. The question, posed on Drowned in Sound was greeted with the following response:
"I don't know what to say about that really. We've been making amends with a lot of the members and having some really good talks with them. And we've been trying to get our financial business in order because a lot of people have been ripping off that band really badly...as far as the business side goes. I wouldn't mind it. Y'know, it might happen, we just have to iron out a lot of personal things. A lot of it we've dealt with already and I've apologised for a lot of things I've said and the way it ended...we'll see what happens."
The band split back in 2001 after the recording of their seminal album Relationship of Command. Three members of ATDi already reside in The Mars Volta, with the remaining members operating in the alt. rock band Sparta.
Now all we await is the Refused reunion! Everyone knows that The (International) Noise Conspiracy are crap!
