It's not at every gig that you see a band member give away their prized instrument to an unsuspecting member of the audience, but that is exactly what bassist B.J Warshaw happened to do on the Pavillion stage come the conclusion of their set.
What mustn't be neglected was that the actual show was fantastic, eventually creating a massive buzz from those watching on. Whether Parts & Labor felt out of place on such a large stage or not, they kept their composure and proceeded to fill the stadium-like arena/mall with catchy noise-based music which always had something of interest to draw the focus. Whether it was the intelligent, intricate drum ryhtms or the experimental sounds emanating from either the bass, guitars or synth - it always managed to hold your attention.
If anyone finds out this guitar donation kerfuffles was a set-up please let us know? Otherwise it only seems fair to mention that if the music doesn't get this band in the spotlight then their kind deeds to the public certainly should!
