Beck Confirms Imminent Album Release

Earlier this week, the music news world was rife with rumours about Beck planning a quick release for his new album. Now, those rumours have been confirmed by the man himself.

As previously reported, the album will feature a few collaborations, including one with Cat Power (yet to be officially confirmed). The ten track album, which had Gnarls Barkley man Danger Mouse on production duties was recorded last December.

Beck will be playing a couple of shows in the U.K around the time of the albums proposed Summer release. The dates are as follows:

Jul 01 - Southampton @ Guildhall
Jul 02 - Manchester @ Apollo
