Rhyming musicians Bjork and Thom Yorke have recorded a song together which will be released via One Little Indian Records next week (October 20, 2008).
The collaboration between the pair "highlights a grass roots movement in Iceland to reclaim the country's natural resources and wilderness from the hands of big business and pollution.". Hence, the Bjork single, which features Yorke on backing vocals will go by the name of "Nattura". The song is named after the organisation (www.Nattura.info) which helps the movement for environmental change in Iceland.
This will mark the first time the pair have worked together in eight years. The last time being on the track "I've Seen It All" which featured in the Bjork-starring musical "Dancer in the Dark", known worldwide for its colourful choreography and upbeat, optimistic ending.
UPDATE: It seems that the song (perhaps for a limited time only now we're advertising the fact) is now available via the wonder of YouTube. Look below for further details.
