Whilst the vocalist of The Black Keys Dan Auerbach is busy doing his own solo thing, other half and drummer of the blues-rock duo Patrick Carney has decided to create his own.
They go by the name of Drummer (the man sure does love drumming) and the new side-project features Carney himself on bass instead of skin's alongside four of his friends. Jon Finley takes vocal and first guitar duties, Greg Boyd is the drummer, Jamie Stillman on second guitar and finally Stephen Clements who takes the position of keyboardist and second vocalist. All of them also happen to be drummers, funny that.
Their debut record Feel Good Together is due September 29th on Carney's own label Audio Eagle. The rather tasty looking artwork can be seen below.
A US tour has also been planned for October, the details of which can also been seen below.
