Blissfields Festival Gets Super Furry Headliner

Blissfields Festival 2009 is set to take place in Hampshire between July 3rd - 5th and now, one of the headlining acts has officially been announced.

Super Furry Animals will grace the main stage on the Saturday night and joins a host of other confirmed names that include Laura Marling, Mumford and Sons, Beans On Toast and Thomas Tantrum.

Festival organizers have arranged a new feature to the Festival (which is slightly random if you ask us) by the name of 'United States Of Bliss' where festival-goers elect a 'Festival President'. The winning 'President' will perform duties such as opening the main stage, obtaining back stage access and will be given VIP treatment (meaning free alcohol and food...). If you seek this fame, then Facebook is the place to start electing.
