Blur, who got back together last summer for a series of live dates have announced their first record for nearly seven years.
It's the first single since 'Good Song' hit number 22 in the charts back in 2003.
According to the Sun who quotes a "reliable unnamed source":
"Initially, Damon had no intention of going back into the studio with Blur. He's been very busy with Gorillaz. But he couldn't resist seeing if the magic was still there with his old chums. And it was."
"They've recorded a limited-edition 7" single which will be released a week tomorrow."
The record, currently untitled, will be limited to just 1,000 copies available in selected stores participating in Record Store Day. We'd arrive early on April 17th if you want a copy of this. Or log onto eBay.
