Brian Eno Signs Onto Warp

Good old Twitter. It's not just useful for saving 6Music, but it also unveils news on the career path of Brian Eno too.

The official Warp Records twitter account sent the following tweet out this morning:

“Brian Eno, coming soon on Warp Records – http://brian-eno.net/”

That page takes you to the sign up screen shown above, which pretty much confirms Warp have bagged themselves the next album from the legendary producer / Roxy Music mainman.

Indeed further internet searches show that he will team up with Leo Abrahams, who wrote on his blog that: "There's an album out soon by Brian Eno, with myself and Jon Hopkins." 

"It contains the fruits of several years of jams between the three of us. I've not heard anything quite like it – it sounds 'live' and 'alien' at the same time. Some things have been permitted to survive, which only Brian would have had the courage to let go, and it's so much the better for it."
