Former Dirty Pretty Things and The Libertines member Carl Barat has been confirmed as the headliner of the Leftfield stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

He will play the stage - curated by Billy Bragg - on Friday June 25, 2010. That day will also feature shows by Reverend & The Makers and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, as well as a number of debates geared towards globalisation and environmental responsibility.

Barat's previous band Dirty Pretty Things parted ways back in 2008. The shows will be solo efforts, although Barat hasn't ruled out the possibility of a Libertines reunion in future years.
