We've made no bones about the fact that the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival is the best music festival in the world.

Never afraid to embrace technology (partly because it boasts one of the best technology festivals too) - organisers have lined up a 4.49 Gigabyte BitTorrent folder featuring some of the 2000 bands playing.

Best of all it's all legal, with all the files DRM-free and you're assuredly safe from appearing on the BPI or RIAA radar.

The torrent folder has been made available for seven years on the bounce, three of which have been put together by Ben Stolt and it's proved to be very successful. According to TorrentFreak, the torrents of the previous editions have been downloaded close to 150,000 times.

Although all tracks can also be streamed and downloaded directly from the festival website, it'll be easier picking up this file than downloading every MP3 separately.

This year’s SXSW music festival takes place from March 16-20 in Austin Texas.

You can download the torrent here.
