Mr Oberst and his magical, mystical band of valley dwellers are already gearing up for a new record release this year (SG News HERE) and now, the group are set to release a new documentary.
The hour long film will be available free of charge as a download or stream as of April 15th from IFC, Causecast, Conor Oberst's Official Site and the Merge and Wichita Records websites. It was recorded by the bands guitar-techy Phil Schaffart and goes by the name of One Of My Kind.
The 60 minute feature documents the band in Mexico where they recorded their first album (the rather fantastic self titled LP Conor Oberst) as well as their 2008 worldwide tour and the making of their second record (Outer South due May 4th) in Texas.
Though the documentary is free, watchers will be urged to donate some money to many of the non-profit organizations from Causecast so if you've got any form of heart, give a little something to someone who needs it more than you.
The trailer for the documentary can be seen below and if its anything to go by, we literally can't wait to watch this one.
