It's one of those Friday fun stories that you couldn't really make up, but according to The Guardian, Courtney Love has binned her second solo album and started recording from scratch with Larrikin Love guitarist Micko Larkin.
Love was originally meant to record with uber-songwriter Linda Perry who has written many of the best selling pop singles of the past decade, for artists like Christina Aguilera, Pink, Britney Spears and Gwen Stefani.
It appears that either the charms, or the as yet undiscovered artistic genius of Micko Larkin has persuaded her to ditch the recordings for a new start.
For the unsure Larrikin Love were a fleetingly successful London Based band who released one album before splitting up early last year.
Stay tuned for what could be one of the more interesting projects of the year.
