The Ting Ting's Katie White has been talking again, this time about the fascism involved in the music industry and how the record industry executives wanted her to disrobe. Wanting to use sex to sell stuff, wow, that's unprecedented!
"They're trying to make me go to lad's mag, and I said no! no! no!" White explained. "I had gone to all the effort of making a look book of all my favourite art and photographs, just to show them what I'm about."
"They didn't even look at it, just pushed it to one side and asked if I was prepared to take my kit off for men's magazines. I was like 'Aaargh!' There's plenty of girls who can do that, and they've got bigger boobs and better faces. I could never do that in a million years. So I told them to feck off!"
Did anyone suggest perhaps the alternative of her posing for Horse and Hound magazine? Oddly enough, her partner in crime Jules has yet to receive any offers. Kah, it's like the Corrs all over again, we loved you James, you were the talented one of the bunch, you didn't need those other three losers.
Besides, The Ting Tings have better ways of scaring you, like say the new video for their forthcoming (July 21) single "Shut Up and Let Me Go".
