Editors, they're not quite what you'd describe as an excessively loud band. Epic yes, riotous noise no. But thats exactly what occurred in Cologne, Germany last night.

Yet they must have been doing something right, because the concert had to be pulled after armed police demanded the band stop due to the band being "excessively loud".

Apparently the neighbours at the venue - a church in Kulturkirche, started complaining when support ban, Asobi Seksu began playing at about 9pm. But it took a couple of hours before the cops broke up the show during the encore of the Editors set.

Maybe next time guys, perhaps pick something with slightly less boisterous acoustics. What's that? V Festival?
