Saturday July 31, 2010 will see the return of Field Day to London’s leafy green corner of Victoria Park. Making it mighty tempting is the reveal of the first raft of artists, including a certain headlining band.
Grammy-award winning French alt. rockers Phoenix will be occupying the top spot of the festival. With their fourth album ‘Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’ gathering accolades left right and centre, whilst continuing to bowl over their fans and win them a whole new audience of admirers, the band’s irresistible blend of strutting disco and blissful euphoric pop all topped off with their effortless insouciant indie vibe will be something of a coup to Field Day’s 2010 event.
Elsewhere, Caribou, Esben and the Witch, Gold Panda, Max Tundra and Silver Apples are also amongst the first wave of Field Day booked artists.
