Firmly slotted into the upper echelons of our ones to watch in 2010 (if you haven't cottoned onto them this year), Swedish duo First Aid Kit have announced a huge U.K tour to accompany next year's release of their début record.

After a couple of odd shows this year with Port O'Brien the girls will return to Scotland in February to kick off their first ever headlining tour - the first of the fifteen shows starts in Edinburgh on February 19.

As stated, First Aid Kit's forthcoming début studio album The Big Black And The Blue is to be released on January 25th - and you can read all the info on that here.

Here are those tour dates, tickets go on sale this Friday (Nov 20th) from 9am and trust us, they won't be around for long.

  • 22 - Birmingham, Rainbow
  • 23 - Manchester, Deaf Institute
  • 24 - Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
  • 25 - Stockton, The Georgian Theatre
  • 26 - Hull, Adelphi

Where are they playing with Port O'Brien?!

That'd be the concert of the century.

Really looking forward to this album.
