We all know that Hope Of The States sadly split in 2006 but lucky for you (and us) the bands former singer Sam Herlihy has created a new band, behold; The Northwestern.
As of May 29th the new band will being a tour of the UK, starting in Winchester and finishing on June 9th in London. The tour comprises of a total of eleven nights.
Six days after the tour ceases (June 15th) the band will release their first single as a double A-Side 7-inch. The two tracks are titled All The Ones and Telephones.
The Northwestern consists of three members, Herlihy as vocalist, former Hope Of The States drummer Simon Jones and The Open's Jonny Winter on guitar. The band's full UK tour details can be seen below.
Lets hope these guys can match Hope Of The States alternative doom-laden weirdness.
