Franz Ferdinand continue their quest to play in all the major towns of Scotland with a new festival date added to their calendar today.

The band are all set to headline the Loopallu Festival, which takes place at the Broomfield Holiday Park in Ullapool. Tickets long ago sold out on rumours the band would be playing there.

The event also features the likes of The Saw Doctors, The Bees, Pull Tiger Tail and Tiny Dancers, and takes place next month.
