Heads Will Roll on New Kaiser Chiefs Album

The Kaiser Chiefs are continuing their four-word frenzy with the advent of their new album "Off With Their Heads" which will be released on October 13, 2008.

Their third album follows up similarly quadratically-vocabularised album "Yours Truly, Angry Mob" from 2007. Heading up the assault will be single "Never (1) Miss (2) A (3) Beat (4)" which enters shops on October 6.

The bad news is that Mark 'more trumpets' Ronson will be handling production duties on the album. This, of course, means that a legion of guest stars are pouring into the recording studio with the band. Lily Allen, New Young Pony Club, rapper Sway and composer David Arnold are among the ones confirmed so far. The album will also feature the band's drummer Nick Hodgson on lead vocals during one track, and that always ends well. Never give the drummer a foot in the door people, he'll think he's a contributing member of the band if you're not careful.
