Ian Brown Teams Up With 'Stop The War'

Ian Brown will reveal the video for his new song 'Illegal Attacks' just after midnight tonight on the Stop The War Coalition's website and also on Channel 4 TV.

'Illegal Attacks' is an anti-war song and Ian Brown is joined on vocals by Sinead O'Connor. Shot in London, and directed by Colin O'Toole, the video tells the story of a young British man who enlists in the army and is sent to war.

On a night operation a house is raided and a mother and father are taken hostage. The twist comes when the soldier realises he is in fact in his family home and the captives are his own parents.

With lyrics like: "It's a commercial crusade / Cause all the oil men get paid / And only so many soldiers come home, It's a commando crusade / A military charade", it looks like a return to form for the former Stone Roses man.
