Interpol Reveal Mammoth Tour

Interpol have announced details of a world tour to coincide with the release of their third studio LP - 'Our Love To Admire'.

Already started in States, the tour takes in a further seven dates in North America before zipping across the Atlantic to play numerous dates across the length of Europe including a support date with Pearl Jam.

In other news, Interpol's album has leaked across the internet, with fans swapping the 11 track album across peer-to-peer network sites.

No doubt this will further enrage the band who recently spoke to Gigwise about the damage they felt YouTube was doing to their music by broadcasting poor quality live performances of the new tracks.

Drummer Sam Fogarino said: " The advent of YouTube, to have your record portrayed in such a low fidelity medium is awful. I mean it's flattering that somebody feels the need to get the live performances up of these songs right away, but the thought of having our whole album on a DV cassette through some broadband wire is ridiculous."

"You think about all the work that you put into producing that album and making it sound as grand as it does, and being exciting about finally unveiling, and then you just hear noise on youtube. We just can't take that risk."

'Our Love To Admire' is available from the 9th July 2007 from the usual places.
