Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.

The majority of B-Side or rarities albums tend to fall short with regards to quality, especially when held up against actual studio albums. It's almost another way for the record labels to cash-in on artists that are going through a quiet period.

It would seem Iron and Wines rarities release is a little different. Not only is every song they've ever created pretty much genius in a can but with this announced double CD compilation, there's a whole lot more than just forgotten tracks.

Amongst the 23 songs are covers including The Postal Services Such Great Heights andThe Flaming Lips' Waitin' For A Superman. Needless to say this is definitely something worth owning.

The title of the release is Around The Well and its due May 19th via the Sub Pop Label so pencil that date in to your diaries for what is sure to be a fantastically fantastic listen. Check below for the track listing as well.
