NYC independent label Thrill Jockey have gone on a mini-signing spree of late and have just taken on two new promising, SG approved artists; Jack Rose and Mi Ami.

Mr Rose is best known for his rather spectacular guitar-work and is set to release another studio album early next year by the name of Luck In The Valley on his new label of home. This will mark the third long-player in three years from the music-minded genius.

Mi Ami, the darkly electronic, ethereally alternative trio from San Francisco have also signed to Thrill Jockey and though they're debut Watersports has already seen release earlier this year on Quarterstick/Touch & Go, this isn't stopping them from releasing even more new material in the form of a two-track 12" Vinyl.

The Cut Men vinyl, as it shall be named features two new tracks, Out At Night as well the title-track Cut Men. It was recorded at Lucky Cat studio, the same place they recorded the debut.

Both artists join an impressive roster of bands including Tortoise, Pit Er Pat, The Fiery Furnaces and Mountains.
