In what was clearly a decision made under 70,000 units of intoxication, the almighty Jimmy Eat World have announced a tour with teeny boppers Paramore.
About the jaunt, Jimmy vocalist Jim Adkins said, “We're very excited for the upcoming tour with Paramore. We got to know them last December while playing festivals together. They put on a great show and we think it's going to be an awesome bill.” Adds Hayley Williams (Paramore), “If it all ends tomorrow, we will be happy knowing that we got a tour with the band that gave us a reason to play music.”
Dear Buddha, please bring me a pony, a plastic rocket and make it all end today. The decision has already provoked a strong outcry amongst fans of Jimmy Eat World. Consider a few of the better ones:

In response to the criticism, Paramore's Hayley Williams issued the following statement. “Hey [Strange Glue] How you feelin'? Are you ready to rock? Let's Go!”. What's with the criticism people, Paramore rock, so here are a few lyrics to learn to enable participation in the concert.

haha! some great quotes there.. :) while the target practice was quite mean, i must admit I did laugh - quite a bit.
while i'm not thrilled about this, i'd sit through ANYTHING to see jimmy eat world again.
